Jason Wood - Founder
Jason began his career as a HVAC technician in the late 1980s, working often in major industrial settings. He was offered a move into electrical work on a project and the rest is history. Becoming a master electrician in 2001, he ventured out to work for himself and founded J&T Electric in 2004 and moved the company to Garden City in 2015. He can be found on jobsites often doing the exact same work as the newest employees. Within the last few years, he became skilled in site underground work and in 2024, he obtained his master mechanical licensing to include HVAC services at J&T Electric.
Tegan Matthews
A Southwest Kansas native, Tegan has worked at J&T Electric for 5 years. She has over 15 years experience in all things "admin" and a bachelor's degree in leadership. She manages solar projects, including design, installation, and commissioning. On the day-to-day, she coordinates accounts receivable as well as employee payroll and benefits, and is studying to pass her electrical exam.
Dylan Galliart
Born and raised here, Dylan has been with J&T Electric since the business moved it's headquarters to Garden City. With 10 years experience, he's a go-to for training new employees, leading our work on site, and troubleshooting hard to find issues.
Shaddock Wood
A lifelong resident of southwest Kansas and growing up around his father's business, Shaddock has nine years of electrical experience including four years of onsite management experience.
Osvaldo Aguilera
Os has grown up in Garden City and has been with J&T Electric for 5 years. He has a wide range of project experience including new build commercial sites, residential projects, and service calls.
Isaiah Reyes
Isaiah is a Garden City native. He joined the J&T Electric team just over 4 years ago. In that time, he's gained experience on many types of projects, including our HVAC and solar services.
David Tapia
While David wasn't raised in Garden City, he chose to make it his home when he came on board almost 4 years ago. David is skilled at many aspects of our work and has helped with managing several new retail build projects.
Chrystian Hernandez
Another local and GCHS graduate, Chrystian has been with J&T Electric for 2 years. He has been learning from other employees on all types of project and also stepped up to learning more in HVAC services.
Isai Fernandez
Known as "E" to us, Isai grew up in Garden City and is coming up on his 2 year anniversary at J&T Electric. He has been gaining experience on both commercial and residential projects and has been involved in several solar projects.
Martin Tinico
Born in Morelia, Mexico, Martin is bilingual and has made southwest Kansas his home for over 30 years. He began working with his family at the young age of five and brings experience across many areas of the construction field.
Zach Rojas
Growing up in Garden City and graduating from GCHS in 2021, Zach entered the workforce in 2015 and, while new to electrical and HVAC work, brings a strong work ethic and a commitment to building a lifelong career in the trades.
